Welcome to Roselands
Roselands is a recognised quality care provider situated in the beautiful seaside town of Beltinge, near Herne Bay. The home has the benefit of being minutes from the sea with its fresh air, whilst being safe for residents to enjoy. Our home provides a warm and supportive environment for up to 15 residents with learning disabilities, dementia and complex needs, through to end of life care with dignity and respect. We recognise each of our residents as individuals and they are encouraged to follow their interests and hobbies, whilst also discovering new ones with group activities and trips regularly offered. Our professional and caring staff have the skills and experience to make Roselands an open, friendly environment for residents to call home where friends and family are always welcome.
Daily Life & Activities at Roselands
Our residents are supported in following their interests each day by the person-centred care of our skilled and experienced staff. Hobbies including colouring, sticker books, music, film, dancing and karaoke are regular favourites. We regularly hold outdoor parties during the summer in our beautiful sensory garden, which have included Abba tribute band, barbecues and fund-raising events for charities of our residents’ choice.
An annual holiday is organised for residents able to access the outer community, with day trips for those less mobile. Other activities include weekly Drama Club, Boccia, shopping trips, visits to theatre and theme parks, day centre activities, visiting storytellers and singers, Craft Club, Cookery Club and Birdwatching Club. Roselands Singers perform annually for a Christmas concert.

We’re warm, welcoming and pride ourselves on providing excellent physical care, good nutrition and sensitive emotional support. We all enjoy encouraging residents to get the most out of life by supporting them with their hobbies, interests and encouraging new experiences, too!
